Bluebell Wood Childrens Hospice Colour Dash 2016

Yesterday I joined over 3000 people at Rother Valley for Bluebell Wood Childrens Hospice Annual Colour Dash Run.

The colour dash is a 5k run/walk around Rother Valley with colour stations which is where you get covered in powder paint.

As you can see from the second photo I was covered !!

It was great to support Bluebell Wood Hospice again as the Ms Ambassador for Royal Miss UK. I’m looking forward to working with Bluebell Wood again in the future.

Last night supporting Neuro Care as Royal UK Miss Ambassador at Owlerton Stadium Sheffield

Last night I attended Owlerton Stadium as part of a charity night for Neurocare. The night was a huge success as I heard they raised nearly £1000 !! I had a quick photo with my Royal UK Miss Ambassador Sash too !!

I am hoping I can work with Neurocare in the future too !!

Volunteering for Bluebell Wood Hospice at Doncaster Rovers

Today I was asked to help Bluebell Wood Hospice to raise vital funds for there amazing charity.

It involved bucket collecting around the stadium. I did this just before the match and I was even given a Bluebell Wood Sash to wear with my Royal UK Miss Ambassador Sash which was amazing !!

Next Saturday I am taking part in the Colour Dash Run at Rother Valley to help raise even more funds !!

Plusnet Sheffield Half Marathon for Hallam FM Cash for Kids

So a couple of weeks ago I competed in my first half marathon !! I was part of team Hallam FM Cash for Kids and it truly was an amazing if not physically and emotional experience !!

It was longer than I thought as I didn’t check the distance but I am so glad I completed it.

I managed to complete it within 3 hours and 4 minutes including a first aid stop as my hands swelled up and my rings go stuck.

It was an amazing experience and I’m going to do it again next year but train this time !!

Royal UK Miss Ambassador for Ms Category

I recently applied to be an Ambassador for Royal UK Miss in the Ms Category, to apply I had to write about my charity and volunteer work as well as my other hobbies and pageant experience.

Out of all the applications the judges recieved I am pleased to announce that I was selected by the judges to represent the Ms category.

This means I’ll be heading to Blackpool in July to compete for Ms Title and the chance to compete for the international title in America in 2017.

Here’s a sneak peak of my sash !!

Pageants

So it has come to my attention that at Miss British Isles Competition which is a pageant for both Miss (Women) and Teens that they had a judge that posted on twitter

“Judging a f**kin! beauty pageant cos I’m a pro at rating birds. Literally sat in the Hilton marking birds out of ten. Life is strange”

Reading this is incredibly upsetting as in recent years the ladies that compete in pageants no matter what there age have worked incredibly hard to try and change peoples opinions of pageants. We have been trying to prove to people that it’s not just about big hair, fake tan an sparkly dresses but instead it’s about challenging yourself, building confidence, meeting new friends, travelling, getting involved in the local community and also raising money for charity.

There has been a number of changes in the industry from having chosen charities to even Miss England getting rid of the swimwear round.

This judge in question clearly doesn’t understand what pageants can to for people who not just compete but to other people in the community, the UK and the world.

I bet he doesn’t know that United Kingdom Galaxy Pageants contestants helped raise thousands over the years for The Christie charity  which helps fund cancer research, medical equipment, new developments and all those extra services that make so much of a difference to patients, such as counselling, complementary therapies, wig service and cancer information centre.

Miss England has it own charity called Beauty with a Purpose and again has helped raise hundreds of millions of pounds not just for the UK but also the world. Beauty with a Purpose has donated to local and international organisations in aid of disadvantaged children.

This is just a small part of what pageant girls do, we also help encourage people to be comfortable in their own skin, a number of pageant girls enter these pageants due to bullying at school and or low self esteem. Pageants give them an outlet to express themselves, surely entering a pageant is better than what some teenagers do now a days. Even women will go the extra mile not only to help there local community but to bring awareness to cause close to there heart.

When I first entered pageant back in 2013 I had no confidence but I thought the only way I am going to be become more confident it too do something out of my comfort zone so I did, i didn’t win, i didn’t place but really met some amazing girls and one of them is my now best friend. I then carried on and won a number of titles and I have done things that I never thought I would do such as Sky Diving, Assault Courses and Runs, I am even doing a 10k run next month for Hallam Cash for Kids and with each event  I do I am raising awareness for the pageant and also for charities I work with as by having a title it does give you platform to help charities, people and communities.

Finally this is a work related reason why pageants are amazing but having this type of volunteering work on you’re CV can also help you get the job that you really want.

So MR JUDGE next time you make rude comments about pageants educate yourself first also that comment was even more disgusting as you were also judging TEENS.

Aqua Hair

I love Kylie Jenner and had to try the aqua hair look for myself so I bought some Aqua hair extensions from Amazon at less then £10. I loved the colour but they were slightly to long so I cut them shorter and went for a choppy look !! I even matched my nail colour to them X

Date night look !

So this is my outfit from date night a couple of weeks ago which I love !! Trousers are so in st the moment and I love these off white ones from pretty little thing which were in the sale for only £8. I teamed it with a basic crop top and high heels to give it a glam look.

Hand bling !!

Just like ear bling I love hand bling too !! I am a magpie !! Again this was a Primark bargain only £1 do again had to try it. I do really like it but it is hard to take a selfie so I had to swap hands half way through the night 😬😬

So I’m a big fan of ear bling and I came across this little bad boy in primark for only £1 !! I had to get it to try I do love it but the cuff does like to come off quiet abit and it’s difficult to get back on eith fake nails 😢
